Western
Michigan University has a team of professionals from the
Sindecuse
Health
Center and the University Counseling and Testing Center
(UCTC) that provide
coordinated services for students with eating
disorders. Prevention, assessment,
treatment and referral services
for students struggling with preoccupation with food
and body
image, as well as patterns of eating that diminish physical, academic,
psychological and personal development are available. Students
can receive services
as part of the treatment team or avail themselves
of specific program components on
a need basis.
